In response to the severe damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi), An Phat Holdings has supported 1.5 billion VND to assist the people of Hai Duong and Yen Bai in overcoming the aftermath of the floods and quickly restoring their lives. These two provinces are also home to An Phat Holdings’ manufacturing plants, where thousands of employees live and work. 

On September 16, Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong, CEO of An Phat Holdings (APH), on behalf of the BOD’s leadership, personally presented a donation of 1.5 billion VND to representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Hai Duong and Yen Bai provinces to help the local people recover from the aftermath of Typhoon No. 3.

Although the storms and floods have passed, the destructive forces of nature has left many serious consequences that will require a prolonged recovery process. Through this support, An Phat Holdings hopes to contribute to helping the people in the flood-affected areas return to normal life as soon as possible.

Earlier, in the spirit of “The leaves protect tattered ones”, An Phat Holdings halted all activities planned for the sports event celebrating its 22nd anniversary. Instead, the entire budget and prize fund were redirected to support employees at units and subsidiaries affected by the floods.

On July 18, An Phat Holdings held its half-year review meeting to summarize business activities in the first 6 months of 2024 and implement tasks for the last 6 months of the year. In the first 6 months of the year, the world economy’s slow recovery and uneven growth have affected many enterprises. At the meeting, on behalf of the Group’s Board of Directors, CEO Pham Do Huy Cuong reviewed the outstanding results that APH has achieved in the past 6 months. ICIS forecasts show that global plastic resin demand is expected to increase by about 4.4%/year in the period 2023-2025. On January 19, 2024, An Phat Holdings had a closing ceremony to wrap up the year 2023 and kick off their 2024 plan. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Board of Directors, senior managers of subsidiaries, and employees of the Group.

The year 2023 has brought about numerous challenges and changes for businesses, and An Phat Holdings is no exception. 61,000 kilometers, 1,500 runners attending the race to celebrate An Phat Holdings’ 21st anniversary

On September 24, 2023, at An Phat 1 Industrial Park (Hai Duong), an offline race officially took place, ending a series of running events both online and offline on the occasion of the anniversary of 21 years of establishment of An Phat Holdings. With the theme “Accelerated – Breakthrough – Master the future”, the 21-year race of An Phat Holdings gathered more than 1,500 runners throughout the Group. 

Specifically, with the online format, the 21-day online race recorded the participation of more than 1,000 employees in Vietnam and other countries. The participation of each employee also contributes 100,000 VND/runner to the An Phat fund (minimum 5 km/21 days) to help employees in need. Meanwhile, the offline race took place at An Phat 1 Industrial Park (Hai Duong) have the participation of more than 500 runners, competing at distances of 5, 10, and 15 kilometers. 

61,000 kilometers run, more than 1,500 runners, these are the achievements recorded in the An Phat Holdings’ 21-year race.

The U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam: “We highly appreciate An Phat Holdings’ investment into the U.S. market and green growth strategy”

On January 31, in Hai Duong Province, U.S. Ambassador Marc Knapper and the high-ranking diplomatic delegation of the U.S. Embassy visited An Phat Holdings at the headquarters of An Phat Bioplastics JSC – a subsidiary of An Phat Holdings (APH) and the leading corporation in Southeast Asia in the field of manufacturing and exporting high quality monolayer film.

Currently, AnEco products have undergone rigorous testing on biodegradability to meet world leading’s certification, including BPI certificate (U.S.A.).

CEO Pham Do Duy Cuong expected that APH’s business activities in the U.S. market will thrive in the upcoming period.

At the end of the working session, the senior delegation of the U.S. Embassy took part in the site tour at An Phat Bioplastics, took family photos and planted memorial tree.

An Phat Holdings appoints new CEO

An Phat Holdings Joint Stock Company (APH) has just given an official announcement on the change of senior position.

Specifically, the BOD of An Phat Holdings officially announced the decision to dismiss Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong from the CEO of An Phat Holdings from January 27, 2023 based on the resignation letter of Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong earlier. At the same time, the BOD of An Phat Holdings decided to appoint Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong to assume the position of CEO from January 27, 2023.

Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong has 17 years of working experience in the financial field at large domestic and foreign corporations. Before being appointed to the position of CEO of APH, Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong was a member of the BOD, Standing Deputy CEO, CFO of An Phat Holdings since 2019. 

Chairman Pham Anh Duong believed that, with extensive experience in finance and administration, the new CEO of APH will lead the Group to fulfill its strategic goals, thereby bringing the best benefits for customers and shareholders. 

After taking on the new position, Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong emphasized that he will do his best to bring An Phat Holdings to stronger development, “firmly affirm its position as a high-tech plastic corporation and environmentally friendly products in Southeast Asia”, while bringing APH’s “green” products to global customers.

Chairman of An Phat Holdings also expressed his profound gratitude to Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong, who ended his 5-year term accompanying APH, for his significant contributions to the Group’s development journey. 

After resigning as CEO, Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong will take responsibility for running APH’s business in the US – one of the key markets of An Phat Holdings. 

In 2022, despite the difficulties in domestic and global economic situation, An Phat Holdings still recorded quite positive results. In 2023, Industrial Real Estate and Bioplastics segments continue to be top priorities for the Group’s development. 

With nearly 20 years of development, An Phat Holdings has made great achievements in expanding the export market of packaging and green products, becoming one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam in the field of plastic, supporting industry, and industrial real estate.
